I love a good espresso martini. I also love a good quality coffee or espresso. Well I just LOVE coffee. I am the type of person no matter the time of day I could have a coffee. I love the taste. I crave the caffeine. Coffee is my one vice. Today I am making a spin on the classic martini and showing you how I make a mocha espresso martini.

If you also share my love for coffee check out how to make a Starbucks iced latte at home, this iced coffee hack or how I make cold brew in a mason jar.

I need to tell you guys about my true love. Yes it’s an appliance but it was the only thing I wanted for Christmas last year, a Nespresso VertuoPlus machine. This is both a coffee maker and an espresso maker.

Now I know what your thinking. Michelle I thought you were going pod free? Well Nespresso has a great pod recycling program that Keurig should take note of.

To make this mocha espresso martini I brewed a Double Espresso Scuro. Don’t worry if you don’t have a nespresso any espresso will work. Also strong coffee like and espresso or french roast will also work.

There is just something about an espresso martini that makes you feel sophisticated. I always find that if I am out with some friends if I order one it’s almost a snowball effect everyone remembers they love them and will also order one.

Well instead of spending $10-14 on one make a batch at home for you and your friends.
