Instant Pot storage solutions for a small kitchen.

I have had my Instant Pot for a few years now. I use it at least twice a week and I am not one for leaving a lot of appliances on my counter. Now my kitchen is on the small side so I was keeping my Instant Pot in the guest bedroom closet. What a pain. In fact, this summer I knocked something off the shelf in the closet and it fell square on my big toe. It wasn’t broken but it turned black and blue.

That’s when I knew it was time to find a storage solution for my Instant Pot. If you own a pressure cooker and aren’t in one of the many Facebook groups you are missing out. They can answer any question you have in usually a matter of minutes if not seconds. So, I wasn’t surprised that my storage solution would come from one of these groups.

Now I found that the Made by Design round utility cart from Target fits your instant pot perfectly. It’s available in grey and black and gives you two additional shelves for storage. I chose they grey color because I wanted it to blend in well with my kitchen and not stand out or become a focal point.

I buy my groceries weekly and always plan ahead. On the bottom shelf I am keeping rice and quinoa in the glass containers and tucked behind them I am storing non-perishables for my recipes that week. Right now I have boxes of chicken broth, diced tomatoes and cans of beans. I like that the glass jars look nice and hide some of my pantry items. Beautiful and functional.

The middle shelf is a perfect spot for my cookbooks including my two favorite instant pot cookbooks. You can find them here and here.

You could also store your silicone rack, springform pan and extra seals.

Did you just get your Instant Pot? Check out my post “so you got an Instant Pot, now what?”
