I tend to go through phases with my crafting obsessions…Remember earlier this year when I was incorporating maps into all of my projects? Well I have found an obsession that has actually stayed. Scrappy tape! When you discover a great supply you just want to shout it from the rooftop or in this case my blog!Read More
It's beginning to feel a lot like Spring! The nice weather is back (for now fingers crossed), the birds are chirping, the crocuses are popping up and moods are lifting as we get out of our winter funk. I couldn't think of a better time to be inspired by spring. Here are some of my finds this week on Etsy! I hope you enjoy and discover some shops that you may not have stumbled upon before!Read More
I have kitchen's on my mind this week. I think it is because I am prepping a kitchen makeover post for next week (the 28th) and I am helping plan a kitchen themed bridal shower. Nonetheless I found myself pinning and perusing in the kitchen section of etsy. I do have to say this first sign might just have to be my favorite. How many of your remember the soup nazi from Seinfeld. I almost died when I saw not only the sign but the name of the shop! How clever.Read More
Watch out etsy art world. Crimson Crane Studios is about to take you by storm. One of the most talented artist I know who happens to be on of my best friends is launching her etsy shop. Her illustration and painting style is playful, vibrant and has a sense of whimsy to it. She is actually the one who taught me how to watercolor, which I don't nearly do often enough anymore.Read More

It's that time again! Second Monday of the month and time for the Silhouette Challenge! This months theme is fabric. Read until the end and you will find 44 of my blogger friends and their projects!

I have seen so many of my favorite bloggers and crafting friends (Thinking Closet and TitiCrafty) using freezer paper as stencils. So I decided to give it a try with some tote bags I had bought at Joann's on sale.Read More
New year...new bedroom? I have been catching myself perusing etsy, overstock and wayfair lately always landing in the bedroom sections. This maybe a sign that it's time to redo my bedroom or at least gather some ideas for my next apartment.Read More
Two days later and I am still feeling the effects of Brimfield, achy legs and shoulders, but it was worth it! I am very excited about some of the items I got and have already started working on some new projects on Sunday.
Everytime I go to Brimfield I am always surprised by the array of prices. Some dealers are very high priced where others are very reasonably priced. It all depends where they are located in the market. My best advice is not to shop close to the street or at the beginning of the antique market. You want to spend most of your time in the back of the lots. That is where the deals are.Read More
