A few weeks ago I was at my friends house and he made me the most amazing pomegranate martini. Since then I have been itching to make them at home and I actually came up with my own pomegranate martini recipe. There is just something about a martini that makes you feel fancy and sophisticated. It makes me want a night on the town.

Now I’ve never actually made a martini before. I mean I drink them. I even own two shakers for when I have friends over. I have to say it did feel pretty cool to shake that martini shaker. I may even have shaken it over my head like I was in Coyote Ugly or something… If were being honest.

Pomegranate Martini

Pomegranate Martini

The perfect smooth martini.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2oz Pama
  • 1 oz Vodka (I like Titos)
  • 1/2 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 of a lime juice
  • 1/2 cup of ice

Instructions

Add all ingredients to your martini shaker. Tip if you don't have a shaker a mason jar works just fine if you strain the ice. Make sure the covers on tight and shake it! Up, down and all around. Now pour into a martini glass straining the ice and enjoy!

Notes

Now sometimes martinis are a little too strong since it's basically just alcohol. You can modify this recipe by adding some pomegranate juice before shaking or after you shake you can stir in some seltzer (don't shake the seltzer in the shaker).
