Well if you want to save some cash and put in the time I want to show you guys 11 signs that you could make next weekend.

How to make a shiplap headboard

How to make a shiplap headboard

Today I am sharing how to make a DIY shiplap headboard. Last week I had the pleasure of partnering up with Habitat for Humanity and 13 other bloggers to help style a Habitat House in Portland Connecticut. Each blogger paired up with another blogger and was assigned a room. I was lucky enough to style the teenage boys room with Stephanie from Sandpaper and Glue. So where did we start? Where we all start of course, Pinterest. The teenager created a Pinterest board that reflected his style. He liked a mix of clean lines, wood, industrial and technology.

How to Paint Crisp Lines When Stenciling Pallets

How to Paint Crisp Lines When Stenciling Pallets

I paint a lot of pallet signs and I share a lot of them on Weekend Craft but I have recently realized that I haven't shared my technique for how to paint crisp lines when stenciling a pallet. It's such a simple trick that can save hours of either touch up or completely redoing a sign. Nothing is worse than cutting the wood, assembling the sign, cutting the vinyl, and painting only to pull off the stencil and see that the paint had bled through the stencil.

Jurassic Park Inspired Dinosaur Air Plant Holder

Jurassic Park Inspired Dinosaur Air Plant Holder

I've always loved Jurassic Park. My brother was obsessed with it when we were kids and I always get that sense of nostalgia when I watch it. So I was excited when they announced Jurassic World.... not to mention Chris Pratt, need I say more. I have been seeing toy dinosaurs everywhere since the movie was announced. So I picked this guy up at CVS for my desk at work. I also have a some succulents and a cactus at my desk and then it hit me why don't I make this dinosaur into an airplant holder. So on Friday T Rex went into my purse and travelled home for a bit of cosmetic surgery.

Mint Painted End Table Makeover

Mint Painted End Table Makeover

A few weeks ago I scored this table after a yard sale was over. I was searching for a yard sale I had found on my yard sale app, after going up and down the street 3 times I was about to give up. I stopped at a house with a sweet couple chatting with a neighbor in their drive way. They were standing there with this table next to them. I asked them about the street number and it turned out I had put in County St. instead of County Rd. in my GPS.

Retro Camper Fabric Embroidery Hoop

Retro Camper Fabric Embroidery Hoop

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this in the past but I don't sew. It is just something I had never really picked up. I think I was more of a crafter and my sister was more of a sewer. I went even so far to make a pinterest board titled "

I found myself pinning a lot of hoop art and then I came across Flamingo Toes 26 FUN AND FREE EMBROIDERY PATTERNS. I thought this would be a great launching point into sewing. Not to mention she had a Scotty retro camper pattern and I had a friend's birthday coming up that would love it!
