Blinded by the light! More like inspired by lighting. I have been pining over new lamps since I moved into my house. There’s nothing wrong with my old lamps I just love changing things up. I partnered up with Wayfair this week to tell you about a lighting sale that’s just for you guys. Enter Promo Code: WFLAMPS15 you will receive 15% off your lamp purchases between November 6 and November 10

Now I’ve always had this feeling that I’m missing my calling in life to be an interior designer. I am constantly pinning home decor and making mood boards for rooms in my house (mostly aspirational). These exercises (or obsessions) have helped me find my style and aesthetic. So I thought I would share the mood boards I put together inspired by Wayfair’s lighting.

1. Pacific Coast Lighting | 2. Large Barrel Table with Weave and Removable Glass Top
3. Reyes Wall Mirror | 4. Dash and Albert Woven Diamond Light Blue Rug

Now I have to say I recently bought the Reyes wall mirror after pinning it 3 months prior. I went back and forth and finally bit the bullet and bought it and I am in love! It really pulls the room together and it can also go either way color wise between silver and gold.

I truly am obsessed with the idea of the gold barrel side table. It gives off the feel of art deco with a modern flair.

1. HGTV Home Voyage 25″ H Table Lamp | 2. Magnussen Bellhaven End Table
3. Azzure Rectangular Throw Pillow | 4. Lydia Neon Button Back Arm Chair

Shabby chic with pops of color! I am absolutely loving the HGTV line that is available on Wayfair. I have a slight obsession with teal and bold pieces. The opaque teal glass table lamp is a great way to subtly incorporate a color with out being to over the top. But its perfectly ok to be over the top with a great accent chair!

1. Mirabella 6 Light Chandelier | 2. Lexington Monterey Sands San Marcos Dining Table
3. Safavieh Shea Side Chair

Now it has always been a dream of mine to have a chandelier. I think it all started when I saw a pin of a chandelier in someone’s laundry room. It was so over the top and ridiculous it actually made it awesome. I have been thinking about chandeliers ever since.

I have been in the market for a dining/kitchen table since the move. I am looking for a table that is round and on the smaller side with a leaf. I love the character of this table. The base makes a great statement along with the soft blue green of the chairs.

Now I am off to day dream about my own home one day and the gorgeous furniture I will put in it! Remember if your in the market for lamps use the promo code: WFLAMPS15 to receive 15% off between November 6 and November 10

If you could have one of the rooms above which would it be?

Sharing is caring!

  1. I think I need to hire you to decorate my house. Love that you snuck something teal in your mood boards too! That’s the room I would choose because I need color in my life.

  2. I love the gold side table, too! I have a rectangular dining table which is good to add leaves for bigger parties, but I wish I had a round table, instead. They definitely feel more intimate, but they do take up more space.

  3. I see a lot here that I love! And I’m getting more and more ideas for my bedroom makeover, my home office, the list goes on! I am also starting to think that I missed a call to become an interior designer 😉
