Wow I couldn’t be more excited to be invited back by Brynne from The Gathered Home and Trisha from Black and White Obsession to guest host #ThriftScoreThursday again. I had so much fun last time and have a big Thrift Score of my own to share this week.

For those who don’t know Thrift Score Thursday is an instagram challenge to scour your second hand stores/garage sales and slap the hashtag #thriftscorethursday on your finds so we can all marvel at your killer purchases each week.

Hearth Stone Log Cabin

Our first feature comes from Hearth Stone Log Cabin. Let me just tell you I am a sucker for before and after pictures. This was a china cabinet that she had scored curbside. Can you believe someone was throwing this beauty away? I wish that everyone could see what potential these pieces have.

I love the details and the color of the cabinet. The combination of the blue and the stenciling really make this piece a focal point in any room.

Not to mention have you seen her little helper? If only he could come over and help me with some projects!

Kaleent

I am super jealous of Kaleent’s awesome find. She is thrifting all the way in Hawaii and managed to score a set of rattan chairs and a marble top table. Look at those legs on the chairs! What a great find. Perfect for either on her deck (with what looks like a perfect view) or even inside the house.

I love the mix of metals and the copper color on the table legs. You don’t see that very often. Great score Kaleent!

DIY Farmhouse Table Makeover

Many of you may have seen on the blog this week my DIY Farmhouse Table Makeover. What you may not have realize was that this whole project was under $50, including purchasing the table itself.

I found this beauty on my lunch break at the local Savers, which is a New England thrift store. She was tucked away in the corner and long forgotten. When I saw her I nearly squealed with excitement and walked briskly over there like someone else might scoop her out from under me (this has happened to me in the ikea as is section). Did I mention this table was only 9.99!?! I think I may have spent more on my lunch that day.

The top of this table was a over waxed and stained mess but I knew there was great bones to this table and it had amazing potential. So with the sold sticker on it (for only 9.99!!!) I was off to borrow a larger car to get her home.

For the full tutorial and transformation make sure to check it out here.

I want to give a big shout out to Brynne and Trisha for opening up their arms to me and inviting Weekend Craft to guest host twice this summer. I can’t wait to see what you guys have thrifted and featured this week. Make sure to check out their #ThriftScores below.
