Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

In the past year I have really started to become obsessed with seltzer. I stopped drinking soda and most juice at home and naturally seltzer was the next best thing, especially if it was Polar seltzer. Have your tried their summer flavors?!? (I am in no way affiliated with them I am just a big fan). I am also a big fan of spiked seltzers so why not put my own twist on that at home? Today I am sharing a super easy recipe for a Strawberry Lemonade Fizz.

Book Themed Baby Shower

Book Themed Baby Shower

You're cordially invited to a book themed baby shower! My sister is about to pop any day now and I couldn't be more excited. I am going to be an aunt! Recently we threw Jenny and book themed baby shower at An Unlikely Story a new bookstore in our hometown. After my mom and I looked at many different places we just knew the bookstore was right. See my sister is an archivist with two masters degrees in Library Sciences: Archival Management and a History Degree. Needless to say she loves books.

13 Halloween Recipes

13 Halloween Recipes

One of my earliest memories is my Mom throwing a neighborhood Halloween party. I mean everyone was there I must've been 4 or 5. My Mom made all kinds of spooky food and had my favorite party game ever, where you raced to eat a donut with no hands that was strung above your head. It was just such a great party from what I remember. Which is why I think Halloween is my sister and I's favorite holiday.

Ok let's face it who doesn't love Christmas crack?! Why is it Christmas crack? In my family we make it all year long. I saw a picture floating around facebook of a Halloween bark. Georgia Peach Bridal Shower

Georgia Peach Bridal Shower

My brother is getting married and it's time to celebrate. He is marrying his girlfriend of 10 years and we couldn't be more excited to make Danielle officially part of our family. The couple met in Savannah Georgia where my brother was going to college and Danielle lived. So it was only natural to throw her a Georgia peach bridal shower up here in New England. I always say the best parties are all about the details. Details make a party memorable, a good theme helps a little too.

DIY Large Glitter Confetti

DIY Large Glitter Confetti

My friend's sister recently turned thirty. They were having a small get together at a restaurant and wanted to decorate the table in a way that made her feel special on her day but was also very easy to clean up. Let's face it restaurants hate confetti. That's where I came in she asked if there was any way to make large confetti.... (insert baffled look from me). With a pack of glitter card stock at hand I made 5 inch confetti. Yup 5 inches and they looked awesome! Who knew!

Bunny Baby Shower (at work)

Bunny Baby Shower (at work)

One of my friends at work recently had her baby boy, Finn, but before she did we threw her a fun baby shower at the office. Now throughout her entire pregnancy she referred to her little nugget as bunny. So naturally we threw her a bunny themed baby shower! Work showers tend to be a bit different then your regular showers, you schedule a conference room for an hour and there is usually a cake. Now do you all think I could just do that? No! Even a work baby shower has to be special, maybe just with less games.

Fall Housewarming Party

Fall Housewarming Party

I have been in my house about three months and I can hardly believe it. With the weather starting to get cooler and winter just around the corner I knew October would be my last chance to have a housewarming party and to enjoy my back yard. I was so nervous all week. Just my luck that the week of my party was a Nor' Easter. But luckily the weather gods were on my side! It rained everyday this week but Saturday and my lawn was some how not a mud pit!

Since you guys couldn't make it I thought I would share the party on my blog ;)
