Christmas Margarita

Christmas Margarita

This time of year my halls are decked and I am ready to have friends and family over for a Christmas party. Each year we get together and have a yankee swap along with some great apps and desserts but most importantly cocktails! I always try to make a signature cocktail for the evening. Last year I made spiked Wassail. This year I thought why not try to make a Christmas margarita.

Pineapple Coconut Mojito Recipe

Pineapple Coconut Mojito Recipe

I never thought I liked mojitos until a few years ago on a trip to California I tried a coconut mojito. Then I realized I just didn't like the original mojitos. Fast forward 3 years it is really hard to find coconut mojitos on the menu in New England. So after last weeks Pina Colada shots I had everything I would need to make my own coconut mojitos but I also had pineapple so why not add those too?!

Aperol Spritz Recipe

Aperol Spritz Recipe

Aperol spritz is one of the easiest and refreshing drinks to make that will wow your guests this summer. It will be like you are sipping a spritzer in Italy. Now Aperol Spritz is seeing a comeback or a revival much like everything these days. It's a cocktail that has been around for awhile but rarely had I seen it ordered. I am not going to lie one of the housewives (I believe Lisa Rhinna) ordered it on TV and it had been on my mind ever since.

Loaded Coronas

Loaded Coronas

Loaded Coronas hold a special place in my heart. It is an easy Summer recipe that brings back some great memories. As some of you may know I used to live in Savannah, GA and my friends and I would spend a lot of our time out on Tybee Island. We always went to North Beach and there is this great bar right on the beach called North Beach Bar and Grill. We would go spend hours at the beach and then hit up North Beach Bar and Grill for loaded Coronas. They were magical! When we all moved away we would text threads about these loaded Coronas and how we craved them. But they used some kind of obscure liquor that I had no luck finding in the North East.

Poinsettia cocktail with a splash and a twist of orange

Poinsettia cocktail with a splash and a twist of orange

The holiday season is here, and it is time to entertain. You know what that means right? Time to come up with some new cocktail recipes! Riondo Prosecco was kind enough to send me some Prosecco to try out!

Now I am a fan of wine; red, white and definitely bubbly, but my favorite wine to use in a cocktail is Prosecco. The light, fruity sweetness of it makes a great base and the bubbles add some fun. What is great about Riondo Prosecco is the price point. It is affordable so you can buy a few bottles to have on hand to make cocktails or to enjoy on its own during a night in.

Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

In the past year I have really started to become obsessed with seltzer. I stopped drinking soda and most juice at home and naturally seltzer was the next best thing, especially if it was Polar seltzer. Have your tried their summer flavors?!? (I am in no way affiliated with them I am just a big fan). I am also a big fan of spiked seltzers so why not put my own twist on that at home? Today I am sharing a super easy recipe for a Strawberry Lemonade Fizz.

If there's one thing I am known for it's my sangria recipe. I've been using the same recipe since college.
